When Sonos announced a colorful collaboration with Danish design brand Hay back in April, we immediately fell in love with the three Sonos One speaker colors on offer — Forest Green, Pale Yellow, and Vibrant Red — and have been patiently waiting for their launch next month. But now it looks like we'll need to add two more shades to our holiday shopping lists. That's because the company just announced that it will be adding two additional colors to the limited edition collection — Light Gray and Soft Pink.

"For the Sonos range, we were inspired by our daily home life," explained Mette Hay, Hay's co-founder. "We wanted to create colors that were for everyone."

The company envisions the new colors fitting in seamlessly in various places throughout the home. The yellow, for instance, was designed to pair well with bright, porcelain bathrooms, while the green shade can blend in effortlessly on a plant-adorned window sill. Of course, some colors, like the Vibrant Red, are just meant to add a pop of color to an otherwise tame room.

Sonos has always been a design-forward company, but wants its speakers to blend in rather than stand out. "With Hay, we've been able to take this integration to another level, fitting our speakers to different settings within the Hay home," said Tad Toulis, Sonos' vice-president of design.

The complete collection will be available on Nov. 5 and can be purchased at,, and the Sonos store in New York City. It retails for $229.
