Many don't consider customizable furniture as an option because of the cost and time associated with the process. The new made-to-order furniture company, The Inside, wants to change that.
"We take advantage of technology through a digital design process that uses 3D models and automated draping, which allows us to bring fast design and trend-forward items right to your home with incredible speed that has never before been seen in the furniture industry until now," The Inside website says.
The site, which was launched this month by Christiane Lemieux with over 800 product options, offers pieces that are made to order in Illinois and arrive in six to 14 days. The cost of the pieces can be described as more expensive than Ikea, but less expensive than Pottery Barn. And with a range of furnishings to choose from — including pillows, benches, ottomans, dining chairs, and more — there's something to fit any budget.
Most of the items come in a variety of colors and prints, and there are select prints that are specifically geared toward children. Plus, there are several pieces that are even monogrammable.
We're especially digging bold furniture options lately, and there's plenty of that on The Inside alongside more neutral alternatives. Check out some more of the highlights below.
