- Danielle loves tackling the renter-friendly projects she writes about, though her favorite undertaking in her apartment — the gallery wall above the couch — is anything but.
- She lives in a studio on the top floor of a Brooklyn home that dates back to the mid 1800s, which has taught her all about small-space living and making the most out of every inch.
- Martha Stewart called her a "good girl" during an interview when she mentioned she was growing basil on her windowsill.
Experience
The idea of "home" has been the main foundation of Danielle's writing career. As the former editor of Secret NYC and Time Out New York Kids, she focused on the vibrant place she knows and loves, showcasing fun things to do, hidden gems, and local news. Her passion for decor blossomed at Real Homes, where she focused on design tips, conducted celebrity interviews, and curated shopping lists for readers eager to add a touch of something new to their home. When she's not writing, she's usually tackling a new project in her apartment, crafting a reading nook, or perfecting her kitchen layout.
Education
Danielle received her master's degree in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. She also received a bachelor's degree from Manhattan College.
