Allure flooring is a type of vinyl flooring that has the appearance of real wood without the expense. The flooring is easy to maintain, comes in a variety of finishes and is easy to install without the use of glue. When cleaning Allure flooring, you can't use harsh chemicals. Cleaning it requires only a broom and a mop.

Step 1

Sweep or use a stick-broom vacuum to remove any dust, dirt or debris from your Allure flooring. Do not use a vacuum with a beater brush, because it will scratch your flooring.

Step 2

Wet a mop with 1 cup warm water.

Step 3

Wring out the mop completely. The mop should be damp, not dripping wet.

Step 4

Mop up any spots on your Allure flooring gently.

Step 5

Apply a cleaner designed for Allure flooring—such as Allure Resilient Vinyl Floor Cleaner And Polish, Refresher Soft Satin—according to instructions on the container to remove any spots on your flooring that a damp mop won't remove.

Step 6

Let the floor dry completely before walking or placing furniture on the surface.
