You're ready to scream with dismay; someone has left a piece two sided tape on your new laminate floor. You've tried picking it off with no results and have no clue what to try next. Take a deep breath and roll up your sleeves; removing two sided tape from laminated flooring isn't that complicated. With a couple of common items and a bit of patience you'll have your floor looking as good as new.
Pry the edge of the tape loose from the floor by laying a plastic putty knife almost flat against the flooring and pushing the edge in a bumping motion.
Grasp the loosened edge of tape with your hand and pull sharply upwards, releasing the rest of the piece from the laminated flooring.
Spray a liberal amount of WD40 onto a rag and vigorously rub the tape residue that remains on the floor; it will come up easily.
Wash the area with your regular laminate flooring solution.
