  • Since 2021, Amber has published several articles on Reno Assistance, where she alerts readers to home design trends and inspires them to renovate. Here, she has had the privilege to interview all kinds of experts, from general contractors to interior designers.
  • As a long-time renter, she is adept at making the most of a small space and loves finding new renter-friendly projects, whether it's a balcony-sized potato garden or installing peel-and-stick tile for a DIY kitchen backsplash.
  • When she's not busy installing peel-and-stick tiles, Amber enjoys watching home design shows, including HGTV's "Down Home Fab" and Alexandra Gater's YouTube channel.

Experience

Amber launched her writing career in 2018 after completing college. Since graduating, she has had the privilege to write for a wide range of publications covering everything from kitchen renovations and travel guides to product reviews and real estate features. Since 2019, her focus has largely remained on home improvement content. Some of her favorite projects include writing Ontario-based real estate stories for Narcity.com and home renovation articles for Reno Assistance.

Education

Amber obtained a journalism degree from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.
