Experience
Chad's writing experience can be traced back to his bad teenage poetry. Professionally speaking, though, he got his start writing headlines for the local paper, The Parkersburg News & Sentinel, in his hometown of Parkersburg, WV. He also did some copywriting work at advertising agencies and worked as a technical writer and content creator at a marketing firm. Chad is also the former editor-in-chief of Woodcraft Magazine, a national woodworking how-to publication. It was there that he discovered his passion for how-to writing. As a home and design-focused journalist, Chad's work can be found at publications such as Hunker, HouseDigest, and Outdoor Guide.
Education
Chad obtained an associate's degree at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for graphic design.
