Ah, summer at the lake — is there anything better? Of course, most of us can't ignore our work and responsibilities to jet off to a sunny destination all summer (unfortunately), so we have the next best thing: Lake house decor. Whether you're city dwellin' or country livin', it's never been easier to channel those vacay vibes through your decorative accessories. To help demonstrate the look, we filled the Hunker House with some adorable decor finds and transformed our Venice Beach pad into a lakeside paradise. Check out the images below to find info on every single product featured, all available right now on Walmart.com.

We started out with a palette of neutrals, complemented by pops of blue and an array of fresh plants. While we channeled a southwestern vibe, the oar, shiplap paneling, and undone look of the room keep it perfectly casual for a lakeside oasis.

We love how the duo side tables offer a utilitarian service for drink-, book-, and plant-holding, while still keeping a natural and unfinished look. We rounded it out with an Aztec print rug and patterned wool throw pillow.

The use of layered rugs here really softens up the space in an otherwise rustic cabin look and allows for a bit of dimensional texture. We also swapped the side table to show the versatility of the items, while simultaneously giving that adorably unique flower vase its time in the spotlight.

Finally, the pillows. If you want to cozy up the joint for movie nights and scary story swapping, but keep it clutter-free the rest of the time, a woven basket is the perfect purchase. It'll show off all of your adorable throw pillows without taking up too much space.
