Rehydrating dried herbs is not as hard as it may seem. The main thing to remember is that because the herbs have been dried, the moisture that has been removed from them and must be put back. Even though dehydrated herbs have been dried, they have not lost their flavor. With the rehydration process -- usually in conjunction with the recipe -- the herbs retain their natural flavor.
Immerse the dried herbs in a small bowl of water with enough water to cover the herbs completely.
Cover the container tightly.
Allow the herbs to stand in the water for 10 minutes to become fully rehydrated. Strain the excess water from the herbs.
