A division of the Honeywell International conglomerate, Honeywell Sensing and Control has been producing climate control systems for residential customers for decades. Honeywell humidity controllers can be used to control Honeywell Humidistats and Dehumidistats included as part of your central heating or air conditioning system. Setting a Honeywell residential relative humidity controller can be done in seconds. For best results, set the relative humidity for your home based on the current outdoor temperature; this helps prevent condensation from forming on windows and other cold surfaces.

Turn the knob to the "15" position if it is minus 20 degrees Fahrenheit or colder; to the "20" position if it is between minus 10 and minus 20 F; to the "25" position if it is between 0 and minus 10 F; to the "30" position if it is between 0 and 10 F; to the "35" position if it is between 10 and 20 F; or to the "40" position if it is warmer than 20 F. Rotate the knob to the "50" or "60" positions if you desire increased humidity.
