It's the same in this DIY — only by adding furniture handles, it'll serve a dual purpose and hold hand towels as well. The project is easy and you can pick out supplies that'll complement your space. 

For starters, search for a wooden picture frame you'd be interested in upcycling. While the DIYer used a small 4x6 frame, it'd be possible to use a larger one instead (such as an 8x10). If the frame is old and ornate, you could end up with beautiful wall decor that has vintage charm! As for the furniture handles, you'll need a bar-shaped pair in a material of your choice. They could be metal, like these BEROSSA Antique Brass Cabinet Pulls — or perhaps choose AHQKCRF Ceramic Drawer Handles if you want ones with a decorative pattern. The final supplies you'll need are a wooden dowel, a drill, screws, and basic wall-hanging materials.

Begin by removing the frame's easel stand if it has one. Next, add either a photograph or a piece of artwork to the frame, then close it back up. Lay it on a surface with the image facing upwards. Place the handles vertically on opposite sides of the frame's molding, marking where you'd like to install them. Use your drill and screws to attach the handles to the wood. Now, take the dowel and thread it through the handles. It will be your towels' new hanging bar.
