Unique, inventive toilet paper storage isn't always cheap, but this budget DIY toilet paper holder that doubles as decor is both practical and cost-effective. Your mini toilet will fit one roll, and will keep it steady when you pull a square off. Set the silly TP dispenser on a table, atop a cabinet, or on a shelf beside the toilet for easy access. Alternatively, mount the miniature wooden potty onto the wall adjacent to your real commode. Hanging the DIY is great for maximizing space in smaller bathrooms and ensuring your current TP roll stays exactly where you need it.

To capture the funny shape, plan and cut out pieces to construct the different components of a toilet. Cut out two oval or round shapes to make the base of the holder and the toilet seat lid. Measure the height of your TP roll and install the lid just above this point on the tank piece. Then, screw a hinge into both the lid and tank pieces to secure them together. Glue the dowel into the center of the base, so that the seat lid rests on it when closed. Wood glue can also be used to easily attach the rectangular lid and handle to the tank. Stain or paint your storage solution before installing it in your bathroom.
