- Brynna is a clinical herbalist and has a small business selling handcrafted products made with natural ingredients and homegrown herbs.
- After finishing an apprenticeship in regenerative market farming, she moved to a fruit and nut tree farm where she keeps a personal garden and greenhouse year round.
- Brynna works at a wildlife rehabilitation center where she tends to snakes, crows, kestrels, falcons, doves, opossums, toads, and turtles.
Experience
Brynna's professional writing career began in 2015 when the travel blog she started from her flat in Florence, Italy was picked up by The Feed. She eventually worked her way up to editor-in-chief of that publication, helping to transform the news and entertainment site into a digital creatives collective. She has founded blogs for fashion, food, and wellness brands -- like Wave Soda, Beyond Scarf, and Influente Women --that were rolled out as part of national and international ad campaigns. She began working for Static Media in 2022, first with Health Digest, then Mashed. After beginning a homesteading project and a career in organic farming in 2024, she made the switch to Hunker where she enjoys writing about growing food, ethical garden practices, and thrifty DIY projects.
