We've talked about earthy luxury before — which combines elements of wabi sabi with a muted color palette — and we figure it's not going anywhere any time soon. In particular, we've been seeing a lot of stoneware, whether it's used for decorative objects or practical pieces.

So in 2021, we expect more of the same. While stoneware can result in a range of colors and forms, we're seeing a subtle move toward neutral hues and sculptural shapes. Whether you add a stoneware piece to your tablescape, bookshelf, or desk, it adds that little bit of comfort that a space needs — especially since we're all still hunkering down.
