This Bedroom Proves There’s No Such Thing as Too Much Color

Welcome to Shop the Room, a shopping series that answers life's most often-ignored question: "Where'd you get that?" We take the dreamiest photos we can find and make it way easier to replicate the style in your own home.

Who: Melanie, interior stylist and blogger

Where: Berlin, Germany

How to get the 'gram: Nothing uplifts the spirit quite like a room full of cheerful colors, but nailing a colorful design takes some thoughtful consideration. Choosing colors that share similar tones and temperatures, like the sunset hues pictured here, ensures that a space doesn't feel disjointed or chaotic. It also helps to add plenty of plants and organic materials, which balance all of that color with a neutral base to keep the space from becoming overwhelming.
