You might not like the smell of vinegar, but chances are that you'll like it a lot more than the smell of pet urine on your microfiber furniture. When pets have accidents, you don't want to make a mistake: vinegar is the best way to clean urine on microfiber furniture.
Natural Cleaning Method
Blot the urine with paper towels if it's a fresh stain. Avoid wiping the stain so that you don't spread it.
Pour 1/2 cup vinegar into the spray bottle and fill the rest with lukewarm water for new pet stains. For settled pet stains, combine 1 cup vinegar and 1 cup lukewarm water. Spray a liberal amount of the solution onto the urine stain. Let it soak into the microfiber for a few minutes.
Scrub the area with a soft cloth or sponge. Blot any excess solution with paper towels.
Let your furniture dry. Direct a fan or blow dryer on the area if you wish.
Sprinkle baking soda on the area once it is dry. Let it sit to absorb the odor for about 24 hours, and then vacuum the particles away.
Use a commercial enzyme product to remove urine or pet stains on microfiber furniture.
Saturate the area fully by spraying on the enzyme product, as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Set a white cloth to soak up the extra moisture. Follow this method by using the method from the first section for final cleaning, if desired.
Dry the furniture by placing a fan on it, or set cushions in place they can easily dry.
