Samsung microwaves are best for individuals who want to speed up their cooking times. The knobs on a Samsung microwave oven are replaced by touch-sensitive panels, but a power surge can affect the electronics in the microwave. If this happens, the microwave will malfunction, but you can easily reset the microwave oven. All you need is a few minutes.

The Samsung Microwave

The Samsung microwave is a more dynamic version of a normal microwave. It's an electric microwave oven that is manufactured and marketed by the Samsung Group. It has a digital keypad and display. Due to the microwave having a digital keypad, it sometimes may freeze. If the keypad freezes, then the microwave oven is unusable. If you own a Samsung microwave and it's not functioning properly, you should unplug the device.

Always Remember to Practice Patience

A broken microwave can be frustrating at best. But instead of freaking out, take a deep breath and relax. All you have to do is unplug your Samsung microwave oven from the electrical outlet. Wait for two minutes, or at least until the microwave resets. Make sure to leave the microwave unplugged during this time while it resets. After the microwave resets, then you can plug the microwave back into the electrical outlet. You will know if your microwave is working if it's functioning correctly.

Can Water Explode in This Microwave?

When you heat up your food, a microwave's job is to "excite" water molecules. When the water molecules rub together, the friction produces heat that cooks your food. If the water molecules are symmetrical, it will generate less friction. That's why when you warm up your food, your bowl or plate might get hot but not your food. As the boiling point of your water increases, the liquid will convert to steam.

When your microwave reaches beyond boiling point, where it's no longer boiling, this is called superheating. If the water is disrupted (you stir the water), then bubbles will form and the water will continue to boil profusely. Liquids expand as they convert to gas, which will cause the water to "erupt." If the water erupts, this can cause severe burns. If you need to warm up your water to the point where it's boiling in the microwave, a pro-tip is to place a wooden skewer or bamboo chopstick in the water. Do this before microwaving your water, not after. This will allow the bubbles to form, and the water won't reach the point of superheating.

How to Clean the Microwave's Grease Filter

Grease filters have to be removed and cleaned once every four months. Do not use ammonia grease or put the grease filter in the microwave oven because the aluminum will darken.
