Before you toss a dull bit and buy a replacement, there's a much easier option: sharpen it. A metal file works, but maintaining the correct sharpening angle and getting an even edge by hand isn't easy. Lastly, make sure you understand the difference between split-point drill bits & standard bits before using the split-point feature on the DD750X. A split-point tip is added to drill bits to reduce the amount of pressure required to cut and increase the grip. But don't add this type of tip simply because the feature is available. If your bit wasn't originally designed for one, the standard point may be the better choice.
