Earth Month PSA: Target Just Released 100% Compostable Trash Bags

We're always trying to find easy, eco-friendly swaps for our everyday essentials, and Earth Month is the perfect reminder to do so. Our most recent find? Non-toxic, plant-based, heavy-duty, compostable trash bags. In fact, they break down cleanly without microplastics in weeks, not centuries like traditional single-use plastic bags.
Released on Target's website last week, HoldOn trash bags are available in two sizes: 4-gallon and 13-gallon — the former sold in packs of 30 and the latter in packs of 25. The small trash bags retail for $7.99 and the tall kitchen ones for $13.99.
While the bags are only available online right now, come April 23, HoldOn will be carried in select Target stores around the country.
