Why we love this pic: Empty walls can feel like impossible canvases to fill, but not if you take a clue from the multi-talented Katie Mack. (Seriously, this girl is like part-singer/songwriter, part stylist, part decor genius.) Thanks to Katie's extra-lovely living room design, our next project will definitely involve using a gorgeous sideboard or console to build a vignette/gallery wall from. Her eclectic setup is full of interesting items that reflect her interests — but it's really a blend of textures and sizes (hello plant of my dreams) that make this setup so dynamic.

The takeaway: A console vignette is a simple and compelling solution to an empty wall.
