Cymbals are a percussion instrument that have been used since ancient times. They are made of convex discs and come in different sizes and materials. Cleaning cymbals is best done using specially designed cymbal polish, but if you are in a pinch you can clean cymbals using household items. This will make your cymbals shine and ready for a performance.
Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice onto the cymbal. Rub the juice all over the cymbal using the halved lemon. Repeat on the other side. Use a scouring pad if necessary, but this will remove some of the writing and logos on the cymbal.
Pour 1 tbsp. of vinegar on the cymbal and rub it all over the surface. Use a scouring pad if desired.
Rinse the cymbal with warm water and dry thoroughly. Dry every space and groove so the metal won't rust or oxidize.
