If your favorite shoes leave scuff marks, you don't have to throw them out or resign yourself to scrubbing your floors every time you wear them. Even though cleaning the scuff marks off the floor is one option, preventing them from occurring is an even better choice. Not only will you save yourself the trouble of scrubbing your own floor every time you wear them, your friends will thank you for saving their floors, too.

Step 3

Turn your shoes upside-down and set them on a towel. Allow the heels and soles to air-dry for one hour.

Step 4

Peel the backing off the adhesive on the sole protectors. Apply the sole protectors to the heels and soles of your shoes according to manufacturer's instructions. Smooth the sole protectors out before pressing them firmly against the sole and heel. Wait five minutes before wearing your shoes.
