Indoor venting can be a practical option for electric clothes dryers without outside access.

If you live in an apartment or duplex, or any other home without outside access for venting your clothes dryer, indoor venting can be fairly simple as long as the venting system is properly installed and you perform regular maintenance. Indoor venting should never be used for gas clothes dryers for health and safety reasons, but it's possible with electric dryers.
