Calibration weights are designed specifically to calibrate scales.

Scales can be used for a variety of purposes, from weighing ingredients to food portions, to measuring prescription medications. Many scales are now digital, and just like traditional scales, they must be calibrated regularly to ensure that they are displaying accurate weights. Fuzion Scale Company, based in the Netherlands, produces a line of battery-powered portable "pocket" scales that you can calibrate using a special mode and calibration equipment. With the right equipment and technique, you can calibrate a Fuzion pocket scale in a few steps.

Step 4

Press and release the "Mode" button. "Cal" will flash once, then an amount in grams will display on the screen. This will vary among different models of Fuzion digital scales. The calibration weight should be the same amount as the maximum weight of the Fuzion digital scale.
