Frigidaire air conditioners are single-room air conditioners that can be mounted in a wall or in a window. The front of the Frigidaire air conditioner unit has a panel that houses the evaporator. Behind the evaporator are the cooling coils that cool the air the air conditioner sucks in. The front plate of the Frigidaire air conditioner can be removed for access to the coils if needed.

Step 1

Locate the evaporator on your Frigidaire air conditioner. It is the large slatted cover on the front of the air conditioner.
