Gluing pieces of memory foam together requires special glue, but is essentially an simple task for ripped or torn memory foam mattresses or pillows. You can also join two pieces of memory foam together to create a larger piece, especially if you want to top a king-bed and that size is not available. The memory foam product is a combination of polyurethane and special chemicals that create the dense, absorbent material.

Step 1

Spread protective covers over the surface where you plan to glue the memory foam pieces together. The glue for memory foam is an aerosol and the spray could contact your floor or tabletop. Since it is glue, it can be hard to remove.

Step 2

Place one piece of the memory foam on the solid surface and the other next to it. Make sure you line the pieces up carefully so you create a level and square edge for both pieces.
