Brightland's new candle is designed to be a "DIGESTIF" for your kitchen — the very first of its kind — that's burned during or after cooking as a sort of "palette cleanser" for any and all lingering smell. Hand-poured by female-founded sustainable candle company Flores Lane, the DIGESTIF is a vegan, paraben-free, and phthalate-free candle that features Brightland's premium olive oil, along with scent notes of black pepper, neroli, and vetiver.

"The Brightland DIGESTIF kitchen candle is extra special to me because of its fragrance notes and what they mean to me: Vetiver is a plant native to South India, and so DIGESTIF's vetiver and black pepper notes immediately take me to my grandparents' home in South India," Brightland founder Aishwarya Iyer said in a statement.

"The orange blossom and neroli notes remind me of California's gorgeous natural bounty, so I feel like a part of my heritage, history, and personal story is poured into each candle," Iyer explained.

The eight-ounce candle is now available for $42 and has 40 hours of burn time, lasting you meal after meal as your next kitchen essential.
