Now, the interior designer has teamed up with Grove Collaborative for a collection that fuses a minimal aesthetic with sustainable options. A long-time fan of the brand, Brent tells Hunker that he appreciates how its mission is "more than just about making something beautiful."

The collection includes everything from dish soap to hand sanitizer (very relevant) to spray bottles.

"We're using natural fragrances, we have soy wax, organic cottons, all of those things which are really amazing materials and resources that are out there," says Brent. "It's just really about educating people on how easy it is to buy sustainable and to live a life that's a little bit cleaner."

He created the look of the items to be "timeless," so they could transition easily between seasons. At home, Brent and his family have taken small steps to be more eco-conscious, which he says all families can try: eliminating plastic water bottles; replacing paper products with recycled ones; and installing LED light bulbs.

Most of all — sustainability can be stylish, the designer emphasizes. "I believe that it's the future of design," says Brent.
