Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking for some, but when it comes to Le Creuset, it's pretty earth-shattering.

Don't get us wrong, we love everything Le Creuset releases, but the iconic cookware brand usually shies away from prints and patterns in favor of solid colors — with the very important exception of Star Wars molds and seasonal shapes.

The latest launch, however — aptly named the Lotus Collection) — features a rare floral print in white on a cerulean blue background. (Florals and cerulean featured on the same item? Don't think we didn't pick up on that Devil Wears Prada reference.) According to the site, this collection is inspired by the serene Japanese Lotus flower, also known as the water lily, which is known for its resilience and "warm, cheerful beauty, representing luck and tradition in some eastern cultures."

While the collection features only five products, including a soup pot, rectangular baking dish, and tea kettle, these pieces are iconic enough to make a statement on their own and will add a pop of gorgeous, calming color to your kitchen this summer and beyond.
