According to its website, more than 10 million designers and producers use Pantone for their projects. But you don't even need to be a professional to appreciate what the company does. We always wait with bated breath for the reveal of the Pantone Color of the Year and some of our favorite brands even coordinate their collections to Pantone's hues.
So imagine our excitement when Pantone announced that it just added 294 new colors to its Pantone Matching System® (PMS) — bringing the total number of colors to more than 2,100 hues. That means even more decor inspiration for us.
The update includes "neutrals, tans, grays, navy, blacks." Pantone also announced "improved cross-referencing" between its PMS system and its Fashion, Home + Interiors (FHI) system. That means users can get that much closer to finding the perfect shade for their items.
You'll have to browse the full system to see all the new hues but in the meantime, we'll be looking for more Pantone-inspired decor to add to our spaces.
