Good news for anyone dreaming of a Scandi-inspired Christmas this year: IKEA just dropped some major hints about what to expect for the coming season. It's all about "cozy gatherings, serene afternoons, and heartfelt stories," according to the retailers' site, and we can't wait, tbh.

The new holiday home collection, called Värmer, will feature "homeware and winter accessories" but also "furniture and decoration." In order to emphasize the homey feel of the release, IKEA worked with two "designer families" to create the collection: Naeem Biviji and Bethan Rayner (Studio Propolis) in Kenya and Sarah Fager and Jens Fager in Sweden.
