Move over, millennial pink — there's a new Insta-popular color in town.
According to Pinterest's Top 100 Trends for 2019, one of the most searched for colors on the site so far this year has been a bright shade of mustard yellow — or Gen Z Yellow, as it is already being called. The site has seen ochre-inspired searches jump 45% since the beginning of 2019.
The vibrant yellow can be seen on everything from wall colors and sofas to wool hats and cocktail dresses. The sunny hue is fun for accents and small accessories (maybe try a throw pillow?), but for the truly bold you can do up an entire room in the shade.
