Welcome to Scandi-land, our week-long celebration of Scandinavian design. To read more, click here.
It's easy to forget that H&M is actually a Scandinavian brand with roots in Sweden. In America, we tend to think of it as a fashion-first brand. But H&M's Home department is quite expansive. The only problem is, it's tough to find their home goods in-store. And for some reason — at least, according to an informal Hunker internal poll — H&M Home isn't an e-commerce destination our friends regularly shop.
I was recently in Stockholm for Stockholm Design Week and stumbled across a standalone H&M Store and e__rmahgerd — I'd never seen the wares IRL and they are just SO good. The quality is really apparent and the range of styles available in Sweden was insanely attractive and on-trend. So, I'm just here to tell you that if you haven't already, it's time deck your place out in H&M Home stuff. (FYI, this is totally un-sponsored; I'm an honest fan about to fritter her paycheck.) Here are my fave items available on the U.S. site; it's a long list, so I won't bother explaining each item, but: you. do. need. every. last. thing.
