Everything You Need for Your Own Wing-Inspired Home Office

The Wing, the woman-only social and coworking club with locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C. and soon, San Francisco and Los Angeles, is one of the hottest business ventures to spiral out of the 2016 election. Membership has several perks from cool events (anyone from Hillary Clinton to Jennifer Lawrence might be booked for a talk) to retreats to many freebies (Chanel beauty products in the locker rooms, anyone?).

And, not to downplay all that amazingness, but the spaces are enough to make you apply on the spot. In each location, no expense is spared to create a design that is gloriously femme, cool, fun, and distinct to its locale. Midcentury and art deco elements reign — think lots of rounded furniture, gold and brass details, blonde wood, dusty pastels, and sumptuous jewel tones.

There are funkier elements too, like the emerald green sunken living room in The Wing's Dumbo location, and the tasseled velvet chairs and custom wallpaper featuring historical women at the D.C. outpost. Bookshelves are stacked with works by women authors (which members are allowed to borrow) and the walls are adorned with pieces by female artists like Laurie Simmons and Joana Avillez. Basically, The Wing is your dream home office. And while we wish we were members (soon, maybe!), in the meantime, we'll take some decor inspiration for our own workspaces.
