Urban Outfitters Has Launched a New Home Series Featuring Independent Artists

It's refreshing to see big-name retail brands put an emphasis on independent creators, and from West Elm, to Anthropologie, to Urban Outfitters, many have already hopped on the bandwagon. These collaborations benefit not only the small artisans, but also shoppers looking for feel-good, unique finds. So basically what we're saying is that we're all onboard for Urban Outfitters's new Artist Editions Series.

As part of the series, new independent artists will be highlighted the last week of each month. The first drop of home goods, available now, has a plant theme, and includes four of UO's favorite creators: Sin (Brooklyn-based sculpted planters and candlesticks), NewMadeLA by Amsterdam Modern (L.A.-based vintage-inspired decor pieces), Ted Feighan (Cleveland-based collages), and Hello Happy Plants (Orlando-based sculpted planters). They have all created limited edition, original designs which are available online and in select U.S. stores.

The full Artist Edition drop consists of 19 pieces total, and prices range from $10 to $185. Check out some of the highlights below.
