Fashion maven Iris Apfel, 96, has had her Rara Avis line at HSN for many years, which includes jewelry, fashion, and more, but now she's breaking new ground with a furniture collection. The collection is in collaboration with Cloth & Company, a custom fabric and furniture company. Apfel is known for her design restoration work at the White House, her eye catching street style, and the countless fashion and design projects she's tackled.
Rara Avis By Iris Apfel Home is inspired by the circus, according to Apartment Therapy, and pretty literally so: One of the fabrics Apfel picked is even emblazoned with bigtops. The collection includes headboards, chairs, ottomans, and more, each of which come in several fabric options. Prices remain mostly under the $1,000 mark.
"The bold, colorful prints in my collection reflect my unique and spirited sense of design," Apfel said, according to Apartment Therapy.
