Thankfully, It Only Takes a Few Pieces to Transition Your Outdoor Space for Fall

A post shared by Kirsten Skovbon (@skovbon) on

This highly enviable oasis designed by Kirsten Skovbon is the kind of space that will seamlessly transition from the hot days of summer to the crisp days of fall thanks to its lounge-inspired setup. Let's start with the organic wood dining set, a natural complement to the setting, which offsets the black and white color palette with smooth, calm texture. Given that this is an al fresco living area, we like that the back wall is simple and contained, but still features a number of personality-enhancing pieces on the open shelving and decorative ladder. And that oh-so-welcoming array of fall-ready accents — like the pile of pillows on the couch and the thick throw blanket on the back of the chair — punctuates the look with cozy layers, which is just what you need to pass an afternoon away.

Outfit your outdoor area for fall with a few of these pieces.
