Intended for nails only, nail polish always seems to find its way to other surfaces. And when it does it's never a small problem. Nail polish leaves noticeable stains behind on everything it touches, and depending on the surface, it may or may not be a big deal. If nail polish finds its way onto your Ugg boots it can seem like a disaster as these sheepskin boots require a special kind of care to keep them clean. Though this may seem like a catastrophic situation, your boots can quickly be restored to their pre nail polish spill state with minimal effort.
If the nail polish is dry, scrape away as much of it as you can with a plastic scraper. If the nail polish is still damp, blot the area gently with a clean cloth or paper towels.
Dampen a clean cloth with non-acetone nail polish remover.
Wipe the stained area with the cloth to remove the stain.
Rinse the area with a clean damp cloth that's wrung out well to avoid excess moisture getting on the boots.
Allow the boots to air dry in a cool dry place.
Use a suede brush on the area to raise the nap again.
Spray the boots with Ugg Water and Oil Repellent Spray and leave them to dry for 10 minutes. Read and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully.
