Drawing with chalk is a wonderful way for a child to expressive his creative side while passing the time. Chalk is typically used on cement and pavement, and it easily washes off these surfaces with the next rainfall. Chalk leaves behind a powdery residue that can stain clothing, carpet and various other surfaces. Unlike markers and crayons, chalk stains are generally removable. Remove chalk stains as soon as possible and prior to laundering.
