Cleaning acrylic windows requires the right type of cleaner and cloth. The plastic material of acrylic windows is more prone to scratching and chemical stains than is glass. If you follow the right procedures and use the right materials, an acrylic window should give the same years of service as does a glass window.
Raise the acrylic window and gently wipe the track of the window with a dry paper towel. Check the condition of the track and window frame. Remove any pebbles or anything that may be in the track of the window. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
Spray a small amount of Brillianize Acrylic Cleaner or other cleaner specifically designed for cleaning acrylic windows on to a section of the window. Wipe gently with a lint-free cloth until the cleaner is totally gone.
Spray the next section and wipe. Continue cleaning each section of the window until the entire window is clean.
Move outside, if the window is accessible, and repeat the above steps to clean the outside of the acrylic window.
Repeat steps for each acrylic window that needs cleaning.
