Candle warmers are sometimes preferred to a traditional candle, as the warmer heats a glass filled with wax to produce the candle aroma without the requirement of a flame. A glass holder fits into the warmer, and when plugged in there is just enough heat to keep the wax melted. When you need to replace the wax, you want to remove all of the previous wax used in the warmer without damaging the unit itself.
Warm up the glass wax holder to melt the wax, and pour out as much of the wax as possible. Let the glass cool for about 10 minutes.
Remove the glass portion of the warmer unit, and place it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Take the glass wax holder out of the freezer and pry the wax off of the glass with a dull knife. Continue until all wax flakes off of the warmer unit.
Place the glass portion back into the warmer, and use as you normally would.
