How to Remove Coffee Stains From Skin

Coffee stains linger on many surfaces, including your skin. When you spill a cup of coffee, you often end up with a brown streak down your arm, or you may even spill coffee on your lap, which soaks through your pants and leaves a coffee stain on your leg. In any case, you need to remove these coffee stains to restore the natural appearance of your skin. Most commercial cleaning products used on household surfaces are not recommended for use on your skin, as they contain harsh chemical ingredients.

Removing coffee from your skin is easy.

Step 1

Wash your skin as you normally would, with simple soap and water. Often this will easily remove fresh stains that have not yet absorbed into your skin.

Step 2

Wipe tougher stains with a baby wipe. These wipes are premoistened and designed to safely lift residue off the skin without causing damage or skin irritation.

Step 3

Saturate a paper towel with pure white vinegar, and rub over extremely tough coffee stains. Rub gently until all coffee stains have been removed. Be careful not to scrub too hard, as you do not want to cause skin irritation due to the friction of the scrubbing.

Step 4

Saturate a fresh paper towel with plain water, and wipe over your skin once more to remove the vinegar and coffee residue.
