How to Get Stickers Off Hardwood Floors

If you have young children who enjoy stickers (and most do), they probably also like to affix them to all kinds of surfaces around your house--including hardwood flooring. Some children love to stick stickers on wood floors.

Step 1

Fill the spray bottle three quarters full with rubbing alcohol.

Step 2

Spray a small amount alcohol directly on the sticker and let sit for a few minutes.

Step 3

Use the microfiber cloth to gently rub the sticker area, scrubbing a bit with your fingers and/or fingernails if necessary.

Step 4

If the sticker residue is especially stubborn, use the no-scratch sponge (scrubbing side) to remove it.

Step 5

Wipe the area clean with the cloth.
