Although small, metal shower hooks add a stylish touch to bathrooms. Metal shower hooks are generally made of stainless steel because of its longevity and corrosion resistance. Like all shower surfaces, metal shower hooks inevitably become dirty. They typically accumulate mineral deposits from hard water exposure. Dust also builds up on metal shower hooks, making them appear dingy. Regular cleaning of stainless steel shower hooks is necessary to maintain their overall freshness and appearance.
Unfasten the metal shower hooks from the shower rod.
Saturate a rag with water. Wipe each metal hook with the rag to eliminate dust buildup.
Inspect the metal hooks for mineral deposits. If the hooks have a scaly, white buildup, dampen another rag with white vinegar.
