Grease is present in nearly all kitchen areas, and when cooking foods in oil the grease commonly splatters onto your kitchen cabinets. This leaves your cabinets in need of a cleaning routine that will remove all of the grease. When cleaning, avoid chemical-based products since the kitchen is the area of the home where you prepare foods. A versatile homemade cleaning solution will remove grease buildup from all cabinet types as well as the hardware.
Fill the sink with about 2 quarts warm water, 2 tbsp. dish soap and an optional 1/2 cup of white vinegar for cabinets with heavy grease residue.
Dip a cleaning rag into the water and wring out the rag. Wipe this rag over your kitchen cabinets, dipping back into the mixture as needed until you remove all grease.
Rinse a fresh cleaning rag under warm water, wring it out and wipe across the cabinets to remove any leftover cleaning film.
Wipe the cabinets dry with a clean rag.
