How to Clean Black Sinks

If you have recently remodeled you home and chosen to add black sinks to the kitchen or bathroom, you may be discovering that they are a little harder to clean. They show dirt more easily than traditionally colored sinks and they have a tendency to reveal streaks after you clean them. Don't lose hope. There is a way to clean your beautiful black sinks and leave them shiny.

Step 1

Buy a bottle of orange cleaner, such as Fantastik Orange Cleaner. This cleaner is professional strength at a regular price. You can purchase it at any grocery store or department store.

Step 2

Spray your black sink with the orange cleaner and then wipe it down with a rag. If you have anything stuck on your sink, let the cleaner soak on it for five minutes.

Step 3

Rinse the orange cleaner and dirt away with water.

Step 4

Fill an empty spray bottle half way up with vinegar, and fill it the rest of the way with warm water.

Step 5

Spray the black sink with the vinegar/water solution and wipe dry with paper towels. Your sink will now be clean and shiny.
