Barrel-O-Slime, similar to Mattel's hit toy Gak, it is a gooey substance that mostly remains in one blob, though it oozes fluidly through fingers when held by hand. While the toy is lots of fun to play with, there is a chance that if left to rest on a carpet, the slime will stain and become harder to remove over time. Luckily, the products used to remove Barrel-O-Slime from carpet can be found around most any house.
Pick up spilled Barrel-O-Slime immediately. If left on a carpeted surface for too long, it may begin to stain it. The slime typically remains in one piece, so it can be picked up by hand.
Mix about 8 cups of warm water and 1/4 cup carpet detergent in a plastic spray bottle.
Spray the carpet with the water and detergent mixture and work it into the carpet with the scrub brush. This will remove any smaller pieces of the substance, as well as residues that could leave a stain on the carpet.
Use a bristled scrub brush to pick up pieces of Barrel-O-Slime out of the carpet that have dried there.
