1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
After soaking, rinse the pieces with water, then dry and buff with a soft cloth.
Work with boiling water carefully.
Store-bought silver cleaners are often messy and expensive. You can easily make your own, saving money, yourself from a mess and the environment.
Cover a glass dish with a piece of aluminum foil (shiny side up).
Place your silver pieces on top of the aluminum foil.
Sprinkle 1 tsp. of baking soda and 1 tsp. of salt on top of the pieces.
Add boiling water to the pan.
Soak silver pieces for 15 minutes.
