Dacor offers a wide range of American-made kitchen appliances for home and professional use. Dacor ovens are equipped with a self-cleaning feature to eliminate the need for heavy scrubbing and oven cleaners. High heat generated during the self-cleaning cycle incinerates any cooked-on food or tough debris. Run the self-cleaning cycle regularly to keep your Dacor oven clean and minimize smoke and odors.

Step 1

Remove the oven racks, convection filter and any pans or aluminum foil from the Dacor oven.

Step 2

Fill the sink with hot water and add 1 to 2 tbsp. dish detergent. Dip a sponge into the sink and wring it out. Scrub the oven door outside of the gasket, and dab the gasket lightly with the sponge to remove any debris.

Step 3

Rinse the sponge thoroughly with clean water and add 1 to 2 tsp. white vinegar to the wet sponge. Wipe the oven door outside of the gasket to rinse away any soap residue.

Step 4

Open any doors or windows in the kitchen and turn on a fan if you have one.

Step 5

Close the Dacor oven door and press the "Self Clean" and "Start" buttons to begin the self-cleaning cycle. If you need to stop the cleaning process for any reason, press the "Cancel - Secure" button. The oven door will not unlock until the oven cools to around 400 degrees F.

Step 6

Wash the oven racks and filter in the hot, soapy water and rinse them thoroughly. Dry the oven racks with a towel and set the filter out to air dry.

Step 7

Open the oven door when the self-cleaning process is complete. When the oven is cool to the touch, wipe away any ash with a damp sponge and replace the oven racks and filter.
