Thermador offers a range of wall ovens and ranges for home and professional use. Baking, broiling and roasting commonly result in grease splatters and food spills. When food residue comes in contact with the hot surface, it can burn on and leave tough stains behind. Thermador's self-cleaning cycle eliminates the need for labor-intensive scrubbing and cleaning products. The oven's ultra-high heat turns any residue into ash.
Remove the oven racks and any foil or pans from the inside of the oven.
Dampen a sponge or cloth with warm water. Wipe up any excessive food spills or grease from the inside of the oven.
Open any windows or doors to ventilate the kitchen during the self-cleaning cycle.
Close the oven door, and press the "Self Clean" button.
Press the "Cook Time" button, and adjust the length of the self-cleaning cycle. The length of time ranges from one hour and 30 minutes for light soil, to two hours and 30 minutes for heavy soil.
Press the "Start" button to begin the self-cleaning process.
Open the oven door when the self-cleaning cycle is finished. Wipe up any ash with a clean, wet sponge or cloth.
Replace the oven racks.
